Information collected
Organizers: first name, last name, email address, language, password (never stored in plain text), subscription dates and last login date.
Participants: the name entered on joining, contributions, positions and a session cookie that allows them to return to the discussion.
- Payments are processed by Stripe: we never receive your banking information.
Use
Solely to operate the service: manage accounts and subscriptions, display discussions, produce the archive requested by the organizer and send account-related emails. No advertising, resale, tracking or profiling tools.
Access
The discussion organizer sees participants' contributions and, from the oral debriefing onwards, their names. The organizer can download an archive containing this information and becomes responsible for it.
Within Centaurium, only Olivier Zara has access to the data.
Our hosting and payment providers process your information outside Quebec.
Retention
Discussions on free accounts: automatically deleted from 48 hours after the first idea is published.
Discussions on Premium accounts: kept until the organizer deletes them, including after the subscription ends.
Accounts: kept until you delete them from your profile or request their deletion.
- Technical backups: kept for 60 days, then automatically deleted.
Your rights
You may request access to your information, its correction, deletion or a copy in a commonly used format and, where applicable regulations provide for it, request restriction of or object to processing, by writing to contact@centaurium.app. Participants should specify the discussion title and the name they used. We respond within 30 days. In the event of a disagreement, you may contact Quebec's Commission d’accès à l’information (www.cai.gouv.qc.ca).
European Union users
We process your data to provide the service you use (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and, for participants, in the organizer's legitimate interest in facilitating the discussion (Article 6(1)(f)). You may lodge a complaint with your country's data protection authority.
